LOTEMICIN (Tobramycin 0.3% and Loteprednol 0.5%. 5ml Dropper Bottle)

Description –   LOTEMICIN combines an ophthalmic steroid anti-inflammatory (Loteprednol etabonate) and an amino-glycoside antibiotic (Tobramicyn). LOTEMICIN is indicated for the treatment of the inflammatory ocular diseases responding to corticosteroids, and where a bacterial infection exists on the ocular surface or its risks. Loteprednol has a minimium incident of increase intraocular pressure thus making it a safe option for patietnts who have glaucoma, ocular hypertension or patientes responding negatively to streiods.  

The combined use as an anti-infectious agent indicated as an agent in which there is a high risk of infection in the ocular surface.
